What a typical day can look like
Children, regardless of age, will take part in a year‑round daily curriculum. This will include a wide variety of activities and themes such as colours, numbers, songs, finger plays, exercise, science, and many other exciting experiences. These activities are carefully designed to support learning, creativity, and the development of fine motor skills.
Activities will be tailored to the babies/toddlers stage of development and may include-
Sensory play – exploring textures, sounds, and lights to stimulate curiosity
Tummy time and movement – encouraging physical development and coordination
Simple songs and rhymes – building early language and listening skills
Soft toys and rattles – supporting grasp, hand‑eye coordination, and fine motor skills
Story time with picture books – fostering early communication and bonding
Gentle interaction games – peek‑a‑boo, clapping, and simple cause‑and‑effect play
🌿 Hygge-inspired elements woven throughout the curriculum:
Creating a calm, cozy atmosphere with soft lighting, natural materials, and warm spaces
Encouraging mindful moments such as quiet reflection, breathing exercises, or listening to gentle music
Building a sense of community and belonging through shared group activities and celebrations
Using nature and the outdoors to inspire curiosity and wellbeing (seasonal walks, natural crafts)
Promoting comfort and joy in everyday routines — from story corners with blankets to snack times that feel homely and relaxed
This Hygge-inspired approach ensures that children not only learn and develop but also feel safe, nurtured, and part of a warm, caring environment.
